At Certitude, we believe that the internet is no longer just a source of information or an advertising medium. With the current level of availability and development tools, it is now a suitable framework for both internal and external applications. Our passion is the development of stable, scalable websites and web-based applications that are able to manage significant information with accuracy and integrity, for external or internal users, or both.
For example, a charity or non-profit that relies on large numbers of volunteers no longer needs to require volunteer presence at, or connection to, the physical location. An application such as Akoe can provide access to role-appropriate tools and information from any location with internet access, using any operating system with a web browser, at any time that is convenient for each user. Although the application is made available over the internet, it is restricted to internal use by the charity and the internet is simply the framework for delivery.
Or a sports league that presents game scheduling and results on it's website can be free from requiring coaches/staff/officials to call or e-mail in the game results and instead, provide access for those individuals to submit the info directly to the site at their own convenience. Statistics and info on the site then become dynamic and real-time as results flow in.
The possibilities are just beginning to be discovered, and the more "traditional" website is certainly still alive and well and better than ever, so at Certitude we are proud to be able to offer both traditional websites as well as web-based applications.
